Key Numbers Class Overview:
The purpose behind a class in key numbers is to understand where the numbers come from, and what they mean from a trading perspective. The first is perhaps the more complex. Most people believe that key numbers come from SMA’s, Fib numbers, Stochastics, or other studies, and technicals that attempt to identify support and resistance within a market structure. The truth is these tools are attempting to find the numbers and may at times accurately represent the location of the number, but the number exists in and of itself.
Part 1: Practical
Introduction: Ranges and Opens Patterns Evidence ROPE Survival Management End
Part 1 teaches the gathering of information. Where can we see key numbers, and why can we see them there. The concept is to allow the educated trader the ability to really see the market. Instead of putting our own stamp on it, we learn to read the market, and see what the market is saying.
Part 2: Theoretical Theories:
CPR Critical Mass Failures Follow Test Influence Decimal Shift 1 + 1 Scripting Rolling and Climbing
Part 2 is where things really get interesting. It’s one thing to know where the numbers are. It is quite another to be able to use that to our advantage from a trading perspective. The theories of part 2, take the reality of part 1, and give us an idea of what the market could do next. We do not pretend to be predictive, but with these theories in hand we can be prepared for what the market may be throwing at us.
The overall intent of the Key Numbers class is to produce the “thinking” trader. Traders that can apply their deductive reasoning capacity to markets tend to be better traders. It is not a guessing game; the above principles really do apply to the market. The trick is understanding when to use them, and how much to trust them. The critical analysis taught in this class will enable the trader to truly see the overall development of the market.
